Failure Hard to Forget

I will not forget this incident :

Assalamualaikum wr.wb.

The esteemed jury and the guests in attendance.
Allow me here to tell you about Nusantara Legend which called Malin Kundang. Here the story :

THE LEGEND OF MALIN KUNDANG

A long time ago, in a small village near the beach in West Sumatera, lived a woman and her son, Malin Kundang. His father had passed away. That family was poor.
One day, Malin Kundang helped a merchant of pirates. He defeated the pirates, The merchant was happy and thanked to Malin Kundang. In return, he asked Malin to sail with him.
Many years later, Malin Kundang became rich and had a beautiful wife. In his journey, his ship landed on a beach near his mother’s village.
When the mother came, Malin kundang pretended that he didn’t know her. For one, twice and three times she begged and for three times he denied her. At last Malin Kundang said to her “Enough, old woman! Go away, I have never had a mother like you, a dirty and ugly peasant !”
Enraged, she cursed Malin Kundang that he would turn into a stone if he didn’t apologize. Malin Kundang just laughed. The old woman looked up, lifted her hands, closed her eyes and prayed, “Oh God, punish him though he is my son, but he is a wicked man”. Suddenly, a thunderstorm came. Terrifying waves rolled toward his ship. It was too late for Malin Kundang to apologize. In a short time his ship sank and he turned into a stone.

Thus legend Malin Kundang from west Sumatra. The message of this story here are tell us became to kindness children not a wicked child for our parents especially
